Ingredients:

  • 1 banana, frozen
  • 1 cup frozen mango
  • 1 cup frozen pineapple
  • 1/4 - 1/3 cup coconut milk or milk of choice
  • coconut granola and fresh fruit to top

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients except for the toppings in a blender 
  • Puree until completely smooth (the mixture should be very thick) 
  • Add a touch more liquid if necessary to get it to blend completely smooth, or if you want a thinner smoothie
  • Transfer to bowl and add toppings

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons frozen peanut or almond butter
  • 1 cup almond milk, divided
  • 1 cup frozen strawberries
  • 1 small banana
  • 1 pinch of ginger
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 kiwi or mango (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon almond or peanut butter
  • 1 teaspoon coconut oil or butter

Suggested toppings:

  • slivered almonds
  • gluten-free oats or granola
  • flaxseed
  • maple syrup

Directions:

  • Scoop 2 tablespoons nut butter into an ice cube tray and place in the freezer,  freeze for 3-4 hours or until solid
  • Remove the frozen nut butter cubes from the tray and set aside
  • In a blender, add the frozen nut butter and 2 tablespoons of the almond milk, blend until smooth (Be patient as this could take a while, but the frozen nut butter will eventually get creamy and thick)
  • Add the remaining almond milk, strawberries, banana, ginger, cinnamon, honey or maple syrup and kiwi or mango, if desired, blend until smooth and pour into bowl (or bowls)
  • In a small microwave-safe bowl, add the nut butter and coconut oil and melt in the microwave for 30 seconds or less, whisk it together drizzle over bowl
  • Top bowl with slivered almonds, gluten-free oats, flaxseed and maple syrup

  • 2 large ripe bananas, cut into chunks and frozen
  • 1/3 cup almond milk or yogurt
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  •  1 tablespoon of your nut butter (optional)

Toppings:

  • 1/2 ripe banana, sliced
  • unsalted cashews, toasted
  • rolled oats, toasted
  • unsweetened coconut ribbon, toasted
  • pumpkin seeds
  • flax seeds
  • hemp hearts
  • chia seeds
  • sunflower seeds
  • cocoa nibs
  • honey or nut butter (for drizzling)

Directions:

  • In a food processor (or powerful blender), blend frozen bananas, almond milk, oats, and nut butter (if using) until smooth

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup frozen cherries
  • 2 tablespoons almond milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 banana
  • 1 pinch lemon zest (optional)
  • 1 pinch cinnamon (optional)

Toppings (all optional):

  • hemp seeds
  • chia seeds
  • sliced almonds
  • almond butter
  • chocolate chips

Directions:

  • Combine all ingredients in a high-speed blender and blend on high until smooth
  • Finish with toppings

1 cup ice

  • 1 cup frozen or fresh strawberries
  • 1/2 cup chocolate almond milk (or regular)
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder

  • 1/4 cup granola (I Heart Vegetables recommends Nature’s Path Dark Chocolate and Red Berries Love Crunch)
  • Cacao nibs, fresh strawberries (optional for topping)

Directions:

  • Blend ice, strawberries, almond milk, cocoa powder, and protein powder (if using) until smooth (you’ll get a thicker consistency if your strawberries are frozen)
  • If you like it extra sweet, you can add a little stevia or sweetener
  • Pour into bowl and top with granola, cacao nibs, more strawberries and/or chia seeds

  • 2 frozen bananas, in chunks
  • 2 scoops vanilla protein powder
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 fresh banana, sliced for topping

  • 1 1/2 cups frozen berry mixture
  • 3 tablespoons almond butter
  • 1 banana, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup unsweetened coconut
  • 1/3 cup vanilla almond milk

  • 1 cup dragon fruit flesh (fresh or frozen)
  • 12 ounces almond milk or coconut milk
  • 1 scoop vanilla protein powder (or substitute 1/2 banana)
  • 2 tablespoons shredded unsweetened coconut

Ingredients for smoothie bowl:

  • 1 large banana, peeled, frozen, and cut into chunks
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 2 teaspoons almond butter
  • 1 cup unsweetened almond milk
  • 4-5 large ice cubes
  • Toppings: gluten-free granola, hemp seeds, toasted unsweetened coconut, pumpkin seeds, nuts, and/or berries
  • 1/2 teaspoon chai spice blend (directions below)

Ingredients for chai spice blend:

  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon ground cardamom

  • 1 scoop link vanilla flavored protein powder
  • 1 green apple, cored
  • 1 big fistful spinach (fresh or frozen)
  • 1 cup coconut water
  • 1/8 avocado
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon, plus more to taste
  • 6 ice cubes

Ingredients:

  • 2 frozen packs of Acai puree 
  • 1 frozen banana
  • 1/2 cup frozen blueberries and strawberries
  • 1/2 cup almond milk or non-dairy unsweetened milk
  • 1 tsp hemp seeds
  • 1 fresh banana
  • 1/4 cup fresh strawberries and blueberries
  • 1/8 cup gluten free granola
  • 1 tsp chia seeds
  • shredded coconut

Directions:

  • Let frozen Acai puree defrost at room temp for 5 minutes
  • Place frozen Acai, frozen banana, frozen blueberries and strawberries, hemp seeds, and 1/4 cup almond milk in blender
  • Blend for 30 seconds (you'll likely need to stop and stir it at that point, add the second 1/4 cup almond milk and then blend until smooth. It should be thick)
  • Scoop out 3/4 cup to 1 cup of the blend into a bowl
  • Top with fresh banana, strawberries, blueberries, granola, chia seeds, and shredded coconut
