According to Variety, the new series "is set eight years after the original show’s finale and will follow a new generation of New York private school teens who are introduced to the social surveillance of the Gossip Girl site."
Back in February, CW President Mark Pedowitz discussed a possible reboot, confirming there had been talks about the idea. "There’s a discussion, but I don’t know if we’re there yet,” he shared.
We absolutely cannot wait to hear more about this reboot.
