Adam From 'Teen Mom 2' Gives Up Parental Rights of Paislee in New Episode Clip

With almost every star of MTV's Teen Mom series, there are one or two baby daddies who proved to be not in it for the long haul. With Teen Mom 2's Chelsea Houska, for example, the father of her first child Aubree was not a good boyfriend whatsoever. But after they called it quits, Adam Lind still remained in Chelsea's life, since they share a child together.

In a preview for the new episode premiering tonight, we see Chelsea having to deal with a choice Adam made in another relationship, as he signed away parental rights to his other child, Paislee, who he shares with ex-girlfriend Taylor Halbur. This obviously puts pressure on Chelsea, as she's left to wonder if Adam will be giving up his rights to Aubree.

The clip shows Chelsea explaining the situation to husband Cole DeBoer, with whom she shares children Watson and Layne with, as well as MTV producer Mandi. They all then discuss the possibility of Cole adopting Aubree, to which the father-of-two says he absolutely would.

Chelsea says that at her age, Aubree should be able to make the decision herself, and should at least be made aware of the situation.

The episode hasn't even aired yet, but fans are already discussing the serious matter on social media. Many have taken to Twitter to share their thoughts on Adam possibly giving up rights to Aubree.

While many of us are in agreement Cole should adopt Aubree, it's ultimately up to her. We just hope this is as pain-free as possible for the nine-year-old child.
