Amanda Holden Gives Blunt Opinion on Ruth Langsford's Complaint Against Phil Schofield
It looks like Amanda Holden's feud with fellow TV host Phillip Schofield is far from over.
The 48-year-old Britain's Got Talent judge shared her thoughts when shading Phil on the Heart Radio breakfast show. The topic came up when discussing the fact that Ruth Langsford, another TV presenter, reportedly filed an official complaint against Phil, as The Sun reports he's allegedly created a “toxic environment” on This Morning.
Ashley Roberts began reporting to news, according to the Mirror, stating:
“Lots of buzz around Phillip Schofield at the moment. There are reports that things are a little tense between him and Holly Willoughby as well as Ruth Langsford. ITV says it's just gossip and that he and Holly are great friends, both on and off screen.”
Jamie Theakston then joked, “If only there was someone here who might be able to help us with that story,” to which Amanda jumped in with, “Listen, I've drawn a line under all those issues with Phillip.”
After a little bit of prying, Amanda stated:
“Well I'm just gonna say that I really admire anyone that sticks up for themselves because it is not an easy thing to do...There is a tin opener and there's a can somewhere and other people have found the tin opener. That's all I'm saying.”
While Amanda didn't totally attack Phillip in her words, we certainly know those two won't be the best of friends anytime soon.
