Something shady is going on with Amber Portwood and Andrew Glennon's finances. The couple seemed to have split earlier this summer after a volatile fight and arrest for Amber, but according to Us Weekly, money may have been the leading cause to their altercation. Apparently, tens of thousands of dollars went missing from their joint bank account and it is unclear who is responsible for this money.

A source tells the site, “Amber is very trusting, so at first when she noticed there was some money gone she did not want to make an issue out of it even though she is fully supporting their family financially.”

When the couple noticed that funds were being suspiciously removed, the couple, “agreed the best thing to do was to suspend that account and transfer the funds. She insisted on removing all the money from their joint account and buying a safe.”

But that's not the end of it. It seems that sources close to Amber and Andrew have different stories. Andrew's source said that he was bringing home around $1500 per day from trading and yet could still not keep up with Amber's expenses which, "included getting meals delivered via Doordash three or four times a day
and ordering huge amounts of clothing for filming the MTV series. If the items didn’t fit, 'she would just throw them in a huge pile in her closet and never once think to return them'."

Andrew's source added that he covered all of the household expenses, paid for both of their cars, along with all of James' expenses.

However, a source close to Amber tells a different story. “The only checks he brought in were from Teen Mom, a show that Amber is on that he’s a part of because of her. Amber also gave him many thousands to day trade with,” they claimed.

It's not clear yet who is at fault for the missing finances. After their big blowout fight, Amber was arrested but released a day later, and has since been granted additional visits with their son.
