Amber Portwood's Boyfriend Dimitri Garcia Posts Sad Messages About 'Distance' as They're Quarantined Separately

Amber Portwood's boyfriend is missing her big time.

The Teen Mom OG star and her new man Dimitri Garcia are quarantined separately, but they're making long distance work. Her Belgian boo took to his Instagram Story with a bittersweet message aimed at Amber, as reported by The Ashley. "Distance gives us a reason to love harder," a quote from Dimitri read. From there, he shared more emotional quotes to his page. "My biggest sadness - the distance” one said, while another said it is his “strongest prayer” that their “relation continues forever.”

Long distance relationships can be tough, but Amber says that with her beau, things are effortless. She opened up about their romance to The Sun (per The Ashley) in early May. “One of the advantages Dimitri and I have is that we started our relationship long distance and we learned how to enjoy each other’s company virtually,” she said. “Now we’re back to doing that again after getting the chance to spend a few months together in person. It’s been really great. It feels natural to us.” 

And while Amber says she plans on reuniting with Dimitri when it's safe, for now, they've been having plenty of video chats. “We really miss each other," she shared. "We’re doing what a lot of people are doing. We’re social distancing and virtually dating."
