Amber Portwood Reveals Plans to Go to College for Music or Philosophy

Amber Portwood is opening up about her future dreams. The Teen Mom OG star is making it clear she's getting her life back on track, and recently revealed some longterm goals when it comes to getting a better education in an Instagram post.

According to Amber, she's looking to go back to school, and she has her sights set on a degree in music or philosophy. The mom-of-two asked her Instagram followers for some advice. "Looking for Music appreciation courses or a philosophy degree...I don't know which college can offer me the best for my time and money?," she wrote on her page. The post coincided with a quote from Plato, which reads, "Rhythm and harmony find their way into the inward places of the soul."

Amber received many supportive comments on her post, with fans giving her suggestions as to what college she should enroll in. However, she has since disabled comments, making us wonder if she also got some shady remarks to her question.

This isn't the first time Amber has expressed interest in philosophy. The reality star spoke out about her growing passion in June during an interview with Page Six. "I believe that educating yourself is the number one thing to help you grow and move forward. So I’m really into philosophers and philosophy right now," she said.

Amber's July 2019 arrest on assault charges made headlines and shook Teen Mom fans to their core, but it's great to see the star work on bettering herself with each passing day. Who knows, maybe the MTV star is on her way to being the next great philosopher!
