Amber Portwood Reportedly Could Be Fired From 'Teen Mom OG' After Major Audio Leak

Amber Portwood is reportedly in some serious hot water with the Teen Mom OG producers and MTV executives.

This week, audio footage was leaked to Katie Joy at the Without A Crystal Ball vlog of Portwood verbally abusing and threatening her then-boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon. In the clip, Portwood mentally and physically degrades Glennon, and says if he doesn’t pick up their one-year-old son, James, that she would “stab him.”

Another recording was later leaked from Joy, in which Portwood actually hits Glennon while he is holding James, and says she never wanted a baby in the first place. She also states in the recording that she would kill Glennon.

This disturbing audio comes months after Portwood was arrested and charged with domestic battery. On July 5, Glennon reportedly texted the police to his home when Portwood allegedly hit him in the neck while he was holding James, and allegedly threatened him with a machete.

After hearing the undeniable evidence that Portwood was, in fact, abusing Glennon, MTV is left with the decision of keeping her or firing her from Teen Mom OG. The Ashley reports that the show’s highest executive producers held a conference call after the first recording was released to discuss Portwood’s future on the series.

The Ashley’s source explains that MTV was prepared to defend Portwood, as she stated that Glennon faked the entire event, but now they have irrefutable proof of what was actually going on between the couple.

With the death threats, recorded verbal and physical abuse, and the growing number of people wanting her off air, I have a feeling Portwood won’t be staying on the beloved series much longer.
