Amber Portwood to Sit Down With Dr. Drew for First Interview Since Arrest on 'Teen Mom' Reunion Show

Amber Portwood hasn’t done a sit-down interview since her July 5 arrest, but after seeing a recent clip for the Teen Mom OG reunion episode, it seems that we will get to hear her side of the story soon.

In the clip obtained by OK! Magazine which you can watch here, Dr. Drew sits down with the Teen Mom OG cast and says, “We have to point out that we are missing one of the Teen Moms,” clearly speaking about Portwood. The video then shows a short clip of Amber talking to Dr. Drew at a different time.

When the reunion episode was shot, Portwood was tied up in legal proceedings due to her arrest, and was not able to make it.

For those that don’t know, Portwood was arrested for domestic battery charges last month. The 29-year-old mother-of-two allegedly came at her boyfriend and baby daddy, Andrew Glennon, with a machete, all while he held their one-year-old son James.

Since the incident, Glennon sat down with TMZ to defend himself against infidelity rumors. Portwood, on the other hand, has remained quiet, minus a few cryptic social media posts.

Because of her radio silence, fans are chomping at the bit to hear what Portwood has to say. And now it seems that they can when the Teen Mom OG reunion episode airs on Sept. 2.
