'America's Next Top Model' Winner Adrianne Curry: Where is She Now?
By Lillian Marx

Adrianne Curry was America’s very first Next Top Model, back before ANTM was essentially one of this country’s most vital institutions. She beat out Shannon Stewart and Elyse Sewell, emerging victorious from a final challenge in which she modeled Baby Phat, because, yeah, it was 2003. ANTM was a high point for sure, but Adrianne’s reality TV journey was only just beginning.

She continued to model in the 2000s and ultimately found her niche with Playboy, landing a couple of covers. Things really took off for Adrianne when she became a star of VH1’s The Surreal Life in Season 4. That’s where she met her future husband, Christopher Knight, famous for playing Peter on The Brady Bunch. The two snagged their own spinoff, My Fair Brady, which ran from 2005 to 2008. The show chronicled the couple’s engagement, wedding, and early marriage, during which time the two butted heads a fair bit. They were divorced in 2012.
Adrianne is also the self-proclaimed Queen of Nerds, and she’s got the credentials to back that up. She appeared on PlayStation Network’s The Tester in 2010 and 2012, competing to win a job as a game tester at Sony. She also teamed up with the legendary comic book creator Stan Lee to start the series Adrianne Curry’s Super Fans, which was part of Lee’s World of Heroes YouTube channel. Those are fantastic nerd qualifications, but none of them hold a candle to a report from GameSkinny which alleges that Adrianne, dressed as Catwoman at Comic-Con, successfully defended her friend from a sexual assault by bludgeoning the attacker with her whip.

Adrianne remarried in 2018, to voice actor Matthew Rhode. They settled in Arizona, where Adrianne discovered she had a benign tumor on her uterus. In the video above, she explains how, doped up after her successful surgery, she watched the movie Edward Scissorhands and was inspired by the character Peg, a.k.a. the “Avon Lady,” to start selling skincare. That’s why today, Adrianne keeps busy as Avon’s top online sales rep. What an adventure.
