'America's Next Top Model' Winner Naima Mora: Where is She Now?
By Lillian Marx
It’s been 15 years since Naima Mora owned the final runway and came out on top in Cycle 4 of America’s Next Top Model. A lot has happened to the Detroit native as a result of her win. Back in 2005, Naima was learning the ropes from Tyra Banks. Now she’s teaching them to aspiring models herself.
Naima Mora Now
Immediately after ANTM, Naima went on to do all the print modeling and runway shows you’d expect. She also appeared in an episode of Veronica Mars and in a music video for the band TV on the Radio.
Today, Naima is signed to EMG and MMG, and keeps busy with shoots and ad campaigns. She still knows how to rock a runway—if you have any doubts, you can catch some behind-the-scenes footage from New York Fashion Week 2018 in her video here. She’s also a vocalist, with a debut album, Dancing In Starlight, released in 2018. Watch the video for her single "Naima" below.
As if that weren’t enough, the 36-year-old star is officially an author. Her book about modeling, aptly titled Model Behavior, is available on Amazon here. In 2019, she offered a 10-week, one-on-one course, covering everything from how to find an agent to posing techniques. On top of all that, she’s got a podcast where she offers advice, called Model Tips Live.
There are obviously a lot of ways to stay current with Naima now that your fandom has been reignited. You can even grab a Model Behavior T-shirt from her online store! Tyra clearly taught her how to run a brand.
