Angelina Jolie in Talks to Join Marvel's 'The Eternals'

Marvel Studios might have its newest member. Angelina Jolie is reportedly in talks to enter into the superhero world in new movie The Eternals.

The superhero team-up film is set to be directed by Chloé Zhao. Not much else is known about the new movie, but The Hollywood Reporter reports that it will deal with love story between Ikaris, a man who runs on cosmic energy, and Sersi, who loves to live among humans.

Zhao will also be entering the comic world for the first time. The director comes from the indie movie world, but has had success with films like The Rider (2017) and Songs My Brother Taught Me (2015).

While the release date for The Eternals has yet to be announced, Jolie has an upcoming Disney movie, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, coming out in 2020.
