Anthony Mackie Reveals the Fate of Falcon in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

Thanos' snap in Avengers: Infinity War is a moment in Marvel Cinematic Universe history that will forever live in infamy.
And like with any incredibly popular movie scene, there's plenty of conspiracies that come with it.
Some fans theorize that Thanos' snap didn't actually kill anyone, and instead sent them to another dimension. And there are plenty of other theories out there that agree that the snap, now know as "The Decimation," wasn't actually fatal.
However, one Avengers star has confirmed The Mad Titan definitely killed him. Anthony Mackie, who plays Falcon in the MCU, was a guest on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon Friday, and insisted his death was no sham.
“Well, obviously, if you didn’t see [Avengers: Infinity War], spoiler alert, I died,” Mackie said. “A lot of people died. So I’m gainfully unemployed. And that’s why I’m doing other movies now.”
Falcon was one of the many characters who disintegrated on-screen because of the snap, along with all the deaths we know happened off-screen.
However, Mackie is set to appear in Avengers: Endgame, which either means he'll appear in flashbacks or his character isn't as dead as he wants us to believe. We'll know for sure when the film hits theaters April 26.
