Ariana Grande deactivates her Twitter but remains active on Instagram

On Christmas Eve the 7 Rings singer, Ariana Grande baffled fans as she deactivated her official Twitter account seemingly out the blue. However, the 28-year-old singer still remains active on Instagram. The singer didn't give any notice or an explanation for her sudden departure from the social media platform.

Her account, now, reads: "This account doesn't exist. Try searching for another." In response, the No Tears Left to Cry hitmaker's name began to trend on Twitter with users posting screenshots of the error message, with many wondering what could have caused the singer to make this decision.

"Ariana went from telling us she loves us every day to deactivating... these r dark times," a Twitter user wrote in response. Another Arianator added, "What the hell is the point of Twitter now that Ariana Grande is no longer on it."

With a third commenting, "All I want for Christmas is Ariana Grande back on Twitter."

The singer remains active on Instagram however. Taking to her Story, she shared a sweet Christmas message with her followers.
