Ashley Salazar From '16 and Pregnant': Where is She Now?

Fans have had the pleasure of watching the journeys of many Teen Mom stars unfold on camera. Some of the mothers, like Maci Bookout, Catelynn Lowell, and Amber Portwood, are still around today, but many young moms that started on 16 and Pregnant have since drifted into the quiet life outside of fame.

One of these moms is Ashley Salazar. We first met Salazar on 16 and Pregnant in 2009 when she was a senior in high school and expecting her first child, Callie, with boyfriend Justin Lane. Lane and Salazar had a very on-again, off-again relationship, and being raised by a single mother herself, Salazar decided to give her daughter up for adoption to her aunt and uncle.

But a few days after doing so, she decided to take her back in an emotional episode, only to realize that she had it right the first time. Though she ultimately decided to leave Callie with her extended family, Lane and Salazar are reportedly still involved in their daughter's life.

According to Fandom, in spite of all of their challenges throughout the years, including suffering a miscarriage in 2014, the couple welcomed their second child, a baby boy named Phoenix, in 2017.
