Wait!? Did Parks and Recreation's Aubrey Plaza just secretly get married?

The hilarious Aubrey Plaza, 36, - known from Parks and Recreation, Dirty Grandpa and Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates - may have just dropped some major personal news on her Instagram.

Aubrey announced on Friday (May 7) her new comedy, Spin Me Round, on Instagram. And went on to casually drop a reference to her "darling husband", Jeff Baena, 43, - I repeat HUSBAND - who wrote, and will direct, the new comedy starring Aubrey, Alison Brie, Alessandro Nivola and "many more fun people."

In the post shared to Instagram, Aubrey moodily looks up at the comedy writer, while he softly smiles down. She wrote beside the photo:

"So proud of my darling husband@jeffbaenafor dreaming up another film that takes us to Italia to cause some more trouble ? excited to be reunited with the amazing @alisonbrie (who also co-wrote this one!) and @theofficialsuperstar @sordociego @lauren_weedmanand so many more fun people in this. Preparati!! ?? ❤️"

It's unclear when the 36-year-old actress and 43-year-old director tied the knot exactly, People confirmed that the pair are indeed married. 

Apparently, their secret nuptials came as a surprise to a handful of Aubrey's friends.

Her Happiest Season co-star Mary Steenburgen initially voiced excitement for their next project, before realizing Aubrey referred to Jeff as her husband.

She commented: "Whoa!!!! Just took in the word husband and I am sending you both love and congratulations and blessings!!!!!"

Actress Robin Tunney added: "hUSBAND??????????? You got married???????? I’m so happy for you guys!"
