'Avengers: Endgame' Cast on the Best Time to Take Bathroom Break During Film
By Hannah Wigandt
Everyone by now knows Avengers: Endgame will not only be the biggest Marvel movie to date, but also the longest. The movie clocks in at about three hours long, which is longer than any other film in the MCU. So of course fans will have to prepare for the long journey ahead, and maybe wear a diaper?
Moviegoers will need an extra large bowl of popcorn and soda to get through Endgame, but they will also probably need to strategically plan their bathroom breaks around all the action that's bound to keep fans constantly on the edge of their seats.
But don't worry, the cast of Endgame has got you covered--kind of. In an interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, actors Paul Rudd, Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth and Scarlett Johansson were asked when the perfect time would be to go to the bathroom during the movie.
"It's a three-hour long movie," Kimmel stated. "I know you can't reveal any of the plot details. But what's the best time to get up and go to the bathroom? Because you do that thing in the movies where you race to the bathroom. Is there a part that we should know?"
"Well, Mark [Ruffalo] said you should wear a diaper," Johansson joked. "Then you don't have to get up, but then you're also sitting in your own urine, so."
"Well, not having seen the film, I would say get one of those giant tubs of popcorn and then just, like, lower it under the seat in the middle of the movie and then you don't have to get up," Rudd suggested.
Maybe, just don't eat or drink anything before--or during--the movie so you won't have to miss any of it. Endgame premieres on April 26.
