'Bachelor in Paradise' Season 6 Spoilers: Engagements, Departures, and More
Prepare to see a handful of your favorite Bachelor Nation stars on your screens once again: Bachelor in Paradise is returning for its sixth season. And by the looks of the first teaser released this week, things are going to get seriously extra, and of course, entertaining as always.
When Does Bachelor in Paradise 2019 Start?
The sixth season of Bachelor in Paradise will premiere on Monday, Aug. 5 on ABC. And in preparation for all the drama, we've got a few spoilers for you if you're interested. TV insider Reality Steve has dished on the first two episodes, revealing a major engagement, a departure, and of course, romances. According to the blogger, these three events will go down:
1. Demi Gets Engaged
According to the TV guru, Demi Burnett will get engaged to her girlfriend Kristian Haggerty. "Not surprised by that since the whole thing was pre-planned and ABC will milk their first same sex couple forever," Steve tweeted. He thinks the network only allowed Kristian on the show so they could get some big moments out of the pair, and apparently it worked. Both ladies have continued to post photos of one another on their Instagram pages, but of course haven't confirmed anything about an engagement...yet.
2. An Awkward Decision for Caelynn
It's already hit the headlines that Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert started dating after connecting on BIP, but Steve has all the alleged details as to how. Honestly, it's pretty awkward. Apparently, Dean gives Caelynn a rose, but ends up leaving because he doesn't see a future for them outside of the show. Then, Connor Saeli steps in, and asks Caelynn out. The pair hit it off, but Dean changes his mind and comes back, wanting to be with Caelynn again. Obviously, we know who she chooses in the end: Dean.
3. Whitney and Connor's Mix-Up
In another seemingly pre-planned move by the network for dramatics, Whitney Fransway and Connor have an awkward mix-up when completely missing each other on the show. According to Steve, the pair had met at Chris Randone and Krystal Nielson's wedding and hit it off. Connor goes on BIP and waits around for Whitney, who doesn't show in time. So Connor leaves, only for Whitney to come afterwards. Eventually, she leaves as well, and the pair begin dating outside of the show. The reality TV insider notes that they're together now.
