Barbara Evans Calls Out 'Teen Mom' for Firing Jenelle Evans But Not Amber Portwood
Barbara Evans is calling out MTV on their double standards for firing her daughter Jenelle Evans from Teen Mom, but keeping Amber Portwood.
Jenelle was axed from the franchise after her husband, David Eason, shot and killed her dog, Nugget. This affected not only the couple, but also Barbara, as the mother-daughter duo had been filming together since their 16 and Pregnant days back in 2010.
According to Inquisitr, Barbara Evans spoke with Radar Online recently and complained, “Why is this fair? Why were we let go, and [Amber] wasn’t?...Why should Jenelle and I lose our money, and why is MTV supporting Amber when Jenelle and I have done nothing wrong? We were on [the show] for 10 years too, and they stopped filming with us.”
Earlier this summer, Amber was arrested after her then-boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, alerted authorities over a fight which escalated into Amber putting him and their one-year-old son, James, in physical danger. Barbara added about the mom-of-two, “Amber has machetes, and MTV supports her and isn’t taking her off the show.”
Radar Online reports that Jenelle made $400,000 per season with Teen Mom 2, and Barbara claimed that she made the same. It's no wonder that she's now calling out the discrepancy in firing!
