Bran Actor Isaac Hempstead Wright Says His Girlfriend Has Never Watched 'Game of Thrones'

Even though Game of Thrones is one of the most popular shows of all time, there are surprisingly still many people who haven't seen it. But wouldn't you watch it if your boyfriend was in it? Apparently not, because Isaac Hempstead Wright says his girlfriend has never seen a single episode.

Hempstead Wright has played Bran Stark since Season 1 of Game of Thrones, growing up on the series. In an interview with E! News, he revealed that he was eager to see the series finale, but might not watch with his girlfriend because she's never seen it.

“I’m really excited to see it,” he stated. “I think I might get a bunch of mates together. My girlfriend said she’ll watch it with me but she’s never seen an episode before in her life, so I’m not sure she’d enjoy that very much.”

While the show might not be a big deal for Hempstead Wright's girlfriend, Thrones coming to an end has definitely been emotional for him, and for his fellow co-stars.

“It was really sad. Saying goodbye to Bran and putting that costume away for the last time was like, wow. It was really weird,” he said. “I’m never in my life going to be Bran Stark again, the person I’ve got to play for the last ten years of my life. It’s a pretty huge chapter of my life to say goodbye to, so it was emotional.”
