Bran Actor Reacts to Fans Claiming Bran Didn't Do Anything in 'Game of Thrones' [SPOILERS]

This story includes spoilers for 'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Episode 6, "The Iron Throne."
Bran Stark, or Bran the Broken, ruler of the Six Kingdoms as he is now known as, definitely had a lot of powers some of the other Game of Thrones characters couldn't even comprehend, but does that make him a good choice for King? After Sunday's series finale, many fans have been asking themselves whether or not he really deserved the throne.
Compared to characters like Jon Snow, who fought and won battles (and was technically the true heir to the throne), Daenerys Targaryen, who fought for the throne since she was a child, freed slaves and exerted her dominance throughout the whole series, and Tyrion Lannister, who was arguably the smartest person on the show, some think Bran didn't do much to become the ruler.
In the fan theory that predicted Bran would take the throne, it said that he was the best option because he was detached enough to rule in peace, without wanting more power. This turned out to be true as Tyrion explained in his speech in the finale. But these reasons are being overlooked by fans who are accusing Bran of "not doing much" to gain the throne.
Isaac Hempstead Wright has defended his character in a recent interview, saying Bran wouldn't have been able to do much this season because of his paralysis.
"It's interesting how everyone is getting so worked up about the fact that Bran doesn't do anything," Hempstead Wright told TheWrap. "I mean, he's disabled, what's he gonna do? Is he gonna jump up and run around, get a sword and suddenly do acrobatics?"
The 20-year-old actor continued by explaining what Bran did was more than physical.
"And his powers as the Three-Eyed Raven basically don't really allow him to interfere with things that much. I think that's the very point of a Three-Eyed Raven," he continued. "The reason there is a Three-Eyed Raven, who is so weird and so calm, is because their job is to observe, it's not to start interfering with things, and that's made pretty clear by the previous Three-Eyed Raven who goes, 'You can't mess with the past'. 'Cos you see what happens when you do – there's the whole Hodor scene."
Unfortunately for some fans, we can't alter the past--we're not the Three-Eyed Raven. So Bran being king is nothing we change.
