Briana DeJesus Faces Backlash After She Spends Day at the Beach With Her Daughters Amid COVID-19
Briana DeJesus is receiving some serious shade after she spent a day at the beach with her daughters. Seeing as she enjoyed her beach day in the midst of a pandemic where people are urged to stay home and avoid strangers, fans felt she should have skipped out on the potentially dangerous opportunity.
As reported by The Sun, many people took to Twitter to tell the Teen Mom 2 star how they felt, and it's safe to say they didn't hold back. When Bri claimed that "nobody was at the beach," one person shot back that she was "selfish" for going in the first place.
Despite Bri saying the beach wasn't crowded, people didn't let her get away with her decision. One person urged her to, "STAY HOME WITH YOUR CHILDREN."
One person even went as far as to say Briana and the people of Florida going to the beach are "mentally sun damaged." Ouch.
As controversial as her beach trip was, that didn't stop Briana from sharing a series of memories from her sunshine-filled day. She posted a slideshow of her two daughters playing in the waves on Instagram, captioning it, "memories in the making." She then shared a video as well, showing both girls splashing and boogie-boarding.
As if fans weren't already throwing her shade, Briana opened up another can of worms when she tweeted, "Wanna go berry picking. Any places open?"
Bri has yet to respond to the backlash, but here's to hoping after seeing all the responses, she and her kids move their bonding time to the house. Better safe than sorry!
