Britney Spears praises Eminem on Super Bowl performance: 'He was everything to me'
Britney Spears, who once upon a time had an alleged feud with the rapper, took to her Instagram on Monday, following Sunday's Super Bowl, to praise Eminem on his half-time performance.
The 40-year-old singer was once dissed by Eminem in his track Marshall Mathers with the lyrics: “Instincts to kill NSYNC, don’t get me started. These f*ckin’ brats can’t sing and Britney’s garbage.” But it seems the Toxic singer doesn't hold a grudge as she wrote a sweet message and reposted Eminem's Super Bowl performance to her timeline. She wrote in the post:
"Wow ? !!!@Eminem last night at the Super Bowl ... he should have had way more time ... he was everything to me when I was younger and it was so weird in the first two seconds I saw him on stage last night I felt like I was 17 again !!! It's honestly kinda scary how certain artists and music can do that ... we are so lucky to live in a world ? where music can give us hope ... identity ... acceptance ...and love ? !!! ?:@nfl"
