Britney Spears shows off edgy maternity style in transparent cheetah dress

Britney Spears showcased her edgy maternity style on Friday, after recently announcing her first pregnancy with fiancé Sam Asghari.

The 40-year-old pop icon donned a long-sleeve and high-neck transparent cheetah dress that showed a hint of her bra and underwear, in photos shared with her 40.7 million followers.

The Grammy Award winner paired the animal-print look with stylish high-heel black booties. The Mississippi native captioned the photo with three pink flowers. True to her usual makeup style, she had her eyes outlined with pitch-black eyeliner. 

Her fans were quick to compliment the mom-to-be, writing, "You're glowing," and "pregnant hottie."  

Earlier in the day the singer shared a sweet clip from her recent Mexican vacation with Asghari, 28, that showed her relaxing on the beach in a bikini that showed off her small baby bump.

"Throwback clips of me and my small fetus playing in the water in Mexico!!!" the musical artist captioned the post.

The ...Baby One More Time singer donned a white bikini with blue patterns and had her hair pulled back as she wore dark sunglasses in the social media clip.
