Caitlyn Jenner Joins Cast of British Reality Show 'I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here!'

Caitlyn Jenner is bringing her charm to a new reality show, but this time it's in the Australian jungle. The 70-year-old former Olympian will be appearing on I'm a Celebrity...Get me Out of Here!

According to Us Weekly, Jenner is excited to appear on the British show in order to reveal that she is "exactly the same person" she always has been and to take a break from her normal life to "unplug" in the jungle.

Jenner has appeared on the American version of the series but wants to take the challenge again. “Being in the jungle is certainly not easy, and yes, it is totally back to basics, but I thought this would be a great opportunity to leave
everything behind for three weeks,” she explains. “Last time, it was almost like a cleansing of the soul.”

But it's not totally a spiritual experience. Jenner adds another incentive for a visit to the jungle, saying, “The only reason I’m going back is to lose a few pounds. I’ve gotta fit in that outfit when I come back. Oh, my god, I’ve got the family Christmas party, wanna look good.”

Jenner also says that she wants to help keep the peace between fellow cast members, claiming people can be tougher to handle than any jungle creature.

I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! premieres on Sunday, Nov. 17 in the U.K.
