Catelynn Lowell Just Set the Record Straight on Those Pregnancy Rumors
Teen Mom OG star Catelynn Lowell has been playing with fans' hearts this week, but now she's here to set the record straight.
It all started when the reality TV star posted (and then deleted) a quote on Instagram, reading, "If I get pregnant again and pink confetti comes out of my gender reveal balloon I'm knocking the whole food table over... Party over everybody go home." Catelynn and her husband, Tyler Baltierra, are already parents to three girls: Carly, who they put up for adoption in 2009, Novalee, and Vaeda Luma.
Of course, the post had fans speculating if the MTV couple was planning another child, and an additional post by Catelynn only fueled the rumors. The 27-year-old mom took to Instagram to share (and, of course, then delete) a photo with the caption, "It's a boy #LinkInBio." But when fans headed to the link in her bio, it had nothing to do with a pregnancy.
So thankfully, Catelynn just chatted with US Weekly to explain what's really going on. The reality TV star stated, "I am not pregnant and we are using birth control. But when we do decide to have another child, we are hoping for a boy. If we are meant to have all girls, then that's just fine too!"
Cate then added, "We are thinking of having another when Vaeda is about 1 or 2 years old."
The couple gave birth to Vaeda on Feb. 21, 2019, meaning the time for trying might almost be near! We'll be super excited to see if Catelynn and Tyler actually have a boy, or if their household is simply meant to be run by girls.
