Chris Evans clears up rumours about affair with Shakira

Captain America's Hips Don't Lie! Chris Evans is putting those recent swirling Shakira affair rumors to bed once and for all. Since Shakira and Gerard Pique decided to part ways after 11 years together, many have speculated who the Latin singer will set her eyes to next with many suggesting the Avengers actor.

Why might you ask this? Well, it all stemmed from when Chris gave the She Wolf singer a follower on Instagram, sparking interest in many about what could be going on behind the scenes. From that point on, there are social media users who speculate about a potential affair between the two celebrities.

But at a recent event, held at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California, when asked by a Univision journalist on his decision to follow the singer on social media, the actor set the rumours straight.

"I've never met her, but I am a big fan," said Evans, who was then asked if he would participate in one of her video clips.

"Oh god, I would be very embarrassed standing next to her. She is too good at it."
