Craig Robinson Says He Would Return to 'The Office' for a Reunion
By Rachel Reed
While we all have our favorite central favorite characters such as Michael Scott or Dwight Schrute, many episodes of The Office wouldn't be the same without Darryl Philbin. So it goes without saying that if the show ever has a reunion, we would need the actor who played him, Craig Robinson, to participate. Luckily, the comedian says he's all in.
While speaking to IndieWire, the actor said that if a reunion show happens, he'd be there. “Hey if they call, I’ll come out and support," he said, adding that just like the rest of us, he unfortunately hasn't heard anything "except the rumors.” However, he already knows where Darryl likely is right now, predicting, "Darryl was already rising through the ranks, starting that company with Jim, so he’s probably part-owner of a team right now.” We could see it!

During the interview, the Robinson also shared how he selects which acting opportunities to pursue and which roles to pass on, explaining:
“You don’t even want to know some of the stuff I pass on, man. Sometimes I pass on scripts that are great but I’ve just played a character similar to it. Or sometimes it’s stuff I don’t want to be associated with. I tend to choose things that make me laugh out loud when I’m reading it or evoke some other kind of emotion — a page turner, or something that makes me cry. It’s always something I’m invested in.”
So that settles that. Fans everywhere can rest easy knowing that if and when The Office reunion finally happens, the coolest guy originally from the warehouse will probably be there, too.
