Daisy Ridley Says One 'Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker' Scene Had Everyone 'Shaken' After Filming
By Rachel Reed
When it comes to epic feels, the Star Wars franchise strikes again, and again, and again. ComicBook.com reports that Daisy Ridley, who plays Rey in the current trilogy, recently revealed that one scene from the upcoming installment, The Rise of Skywalker, really hit home.
“There was a scene that touched me a lot,” she shared with Adoro Cinema. “It was our last day shooting in Jordan and the natural light was fading. And it was so exciting. It was just a short scene, we filmed very fast, but the crew was shaken in a way I had not seen before. And I thought, 'My God, if this is people's immediate reaction when the scene isn't even ready, imagine what it will be like to see it in the movies, with the John Williams soundtrack and all that.”
Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker will bring the current Skywalker Saga to an end. With behind-the-scenes reactions like Ridley's, theaters everywhere are bound to be drowned in waterworks seeing this epic story conclude. So on Dec. 20, be sure to get a good seat.
