'Never Have I Ever's Darren Barnet Joins 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'s Final Season

After seven seasons, Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is sadly coming to an end, but there is one silver lining fans of this up-and-coming actor can look forward to.

According to Variety, Darren Barnet has landed a guest star role on the show, and we're hoping it's about to be epic. Barnet's career has taken off in major way after he appeared in Netflix's Never Have I Ever, and he's about to land himself a key space in the TV limelight. While Variety reports it's currently unclear how many episodes of the show he will appear in, he apparently will have an impactful role.

The publication adds that the seventh season of the show will travel back in time to 1931 New York City, which is where Barnet will step in. Patton Oswalt will also return to the series in a new role.

Season 7 may be the show's last, but with heartthrob Barnet showing face, at least they're going out with a bang. Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns on May 27.
