Jenelle Evans Posts a Statement After David Eason is Reportedly Arrested Twice in 48 Hours

Fans of the Teen Mom franchise shouldn't be too shocked to hear there's major drama coming from Jenelle Evans and David Eason. The former MTV stars have caused tons of controversy over the past couple of years, with both of them being fired from the show because of their troublesome actions. For David's part, he was dropped by the network in 2018 after he posted incredibly offensive and homophobic tweets, and in 2019, Jenelle was also let go after David shot and killed her dog. Saying these two have had a tumultuous relationship with each other and with the public would be an understatement.

And now, things are getting crazy again for the pair. According to The Ashley, David has been arrested twice in a 48-hour span. The controversial figure was behind bars at the Columbus County Jail on Thursday, and again on Friday, with the first being because he failed to show up to court for a misdemeanor charge, and was later released on a $1000 bond. As for the second arrest, The Ashley cites the website CeleberNation, who reported on Saturday, "The [ex Teen Mom 2] star is now facing new charges, this time charges of Assault [W]ith a [D]eadly [W]eapon along with a second charge of communicative threats. David Eason was arrested after Pistol-Whipping a [g]entleman."

The site went on to explain:

"Jenelle Evans was not hurt in any way nor were any of the children. The fight broke out after 2 of Jenelle's friends went back with her to collect some of her belongings. That's when David got into a heated argument with 1 of the men over his truck keys and David struck one of the men with a pistol. David misplaced his keys, neither Jenelle nor any of the men were in possession of the keys. They were then found by David."

Jenelle has spoken out on the incident, telling CeleberNation that, "I'm shaking and saddened by this, it's time for me to move on from this relationship and find happiness for my kids and myself elsewhere." She also took to Facebook to provide an official statement on her verified account (she usually posts on her regular profile), writing:

"#teenmomog #breakingnews I just want to let the public, tabloids, and my fans know that IM OK, IM SAFE AND SO ARE THE KIDS! I'm going to take a few days out to myself to gather my thoughts and focus on what's going on so I won't be on social media much. I love you all for the support that you all have shown me and I'll be stronger and better than ever soon! [heart emojis]." You can see the post below.

It certainly seems that Jenelle is suggesting she's leaving David, but as we all know their drama-filled past of similar antics, that might not be the case.
