David Eason Calls for Cheyenne Floyd to Be Fired From 'Teen Mom' Over Alleged Racism
David Eason and Jenelle Evans were both fired from MTV's Teen Mom 2, but now, David is insisting another member of the franchise should also face the chopping block.
Following MTV’s decision to fire Dee Nguyen of The Challenge fame due to her controversial remarks about the Black Lives Matter movement, David says Cheyenne Floyd should be next to get the axe. The former reality star didn't hold back when unleashing his accusations against Cheyenne.
Though David's Instagram account is private, The Ashley was able to screenshot his messages. “[MTV] only takes action when it benefits them, they don’t actually care,” he wrote on Instagram. “If they did [Cheyenne] would have never been accepted to ‘Teen Mom.’ Where is the equality with these big corporations? At this point, MTV needs to be held accountable for their racist behavior and discrimination!”
Along with his statement, David included screenshots of past tweets from Cheyenne which included racially-charged remarks. Though she has since apologized, the mom-of-one tweeted in 2012 about wanting “to kill every white person” she saw.
Apparently, fans didn't exactly see eye-to-eye with David's remarks. “Why do you guys even care about [Teen Mom],” one comment read. “You’ve repeatedly posted about you guys filming a new show and doing your own thing now ur out of mtv contract.”
Jenelle then, unsurprisingly, jumped to David's defense. “Because if David was fired for his actions and others are being fired to this day… why not Cheyenne. I’m confused too," she wrote. It's to be determined on whether or not Cheyenne actually faces any consequences, but it looks like David and Jenelle are still super salty about their MTV exit.
