David Eason is Now Claiming He Was Never in Love With Ex Jenelle Evans

Teen Mom 2 alums Jenelle Evans and David Eason recently called it quits after Evans left the controversial dad after two years of marriage. And after all the toxic ups and downs, it is no surprise that Eason is now claiming is he better off without his estranged wife.

In Touch Weekly reports that the 31-year-old TV personality recently took to his Facebook to announce that he is doing just fine without Evans. He posted, “Glad [you] people think I am taking this so hard. Just so [you] all know, I am so very much happier and so is Maryssa. Finally peaceful!” Fans know the Maryssa he's referring to is his daughter, who he shares with his ex-wife, Whitney Johnson.

Facebook users commented with a range of support and criticism for the declaration. One user wrote, “Now maybe you can have a relationship with your family again your mom and sister and get your life together. This relationship was toxic from the beginning I’m happy [you’re] happy as I’m sure Jenelle is as well.”

Eason went on to explain that the reason he is moving on so quickly is because he apparently never really loved Evans. He wrote, “It bothered me…but I’m not heart broken [sic]. I’ve realized I wasn’t in love and there are much better people out there for me.”

While it might be the truth, many fans believe the statement is all too convenient for the father-of-three. Eason has been under extreme scrutiny since he was fired from the MTV series for posting homophobic slurs online. He gained even more criticism this year after admitting to killing the family dog, Nugget, after she allegedly nipped at his and Evans' daughter, Ensley.

It seems that Evans definitely made the right choice in leaving!
