According to Bravo, Dorinda was married for about ten years to a Brit, and the two had a daughter together. After the pair split, she met Richard Medley, former partner of billionaire George Soros, and the two married in 2005. Medley tragically died in 2011 due to illness. Today, Dorinda is dating John Mahdessian, who owns the couture restoration house Madame Paulette.
