It might be time for The Office fans to give up the dream of a reboot, but we can always hold out hope for a reunion of sorts. Especially when Erin Hannon actor Ellie Kemper says she wants to bring the Dunder Mifflin gang back together to film a Christmas special.

The 39-year-old actress recently sat down with Woman’s Day and revealed that she is always down to do a project with her old pals, even if nothing has developed to make it happen so far. “I’m up for it,” she stated, adding:

“What I think would be a dream is if there were just a one-off, like a Christmas reunion, maybe people would come on board with that. From a logistics point of view, it seems very difficult for everyone to be available at one time, but to me that would be an awesome treat.”

While the holidays are a difficult time to get old friends together (especially if your friends are successful actors), a holiday reunion would be an epic way to give the fans what they have been begging for. Can you imagine Dwight (Rainn Wilson) and Angela (Angela Kinsey) inviting everyone out to their beet farm for Christmas? Or all of them reuniting at a Benihana? The possibilities are seriously endless.

Let’s hope that Santa brings The Office reunion we have all been wishing for in the 2020 holiday season.
