Emilia Clarke Says Episode 5 of 'Game of Thrones' Final Season is 'Bigger' Than 'The Long Night'

It's definitely going to be hard to top the Battle of Winterfell in Game of Thrones's most recent episode "The Long Night," but we know that there is still at least one more fight left for the Seven Kingdoms. Most of the main characters survived the battle against the undead, but as hinted by Daenerys Targaryen actor Emilia Clarke, they may not be able to cheat death a second time.

During a recent appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Clarke promised that what happens in the fifth episode of the final season is apparently "bigger" than the Battle of Winterfell. Considering how hard the cast and crew worked during their 55 night-long shoot for "The Long Night," this is shocking to hear. What could be larger than that?

"It was nuts. I mean, being in—what you saw was really what it was like shooting it," Clarke told Kimmel regarding filming the Battle of Winterfell. "You saw blood and mud and angry, screaming people. And then backstage there was blood and mud—and asleep people."

But nothing compares to what's to come, Clarke said. "Episode five is bigger," the actress revealed. "Episode five is [exhales]—I mean, four and five and six, they're all insane, but like … Find the biggest TV you can."

Fans are anticipating a whole lot from the next battle scene, between two queens facing off, Cleganebowl, and many potential twists. But perhaps Clarke is referring to some other unknown major event, like a shift in alliances. Whatever the case, we'll start scouting watching locations with large TVs for the next few weeks.
