Evan Rachel Wood Has Perfect Response After Paris Hilton Calls Millie Bobby Brown 'Hot'

Evan Rachel Wood is here to remind Paris Hilton that it isn’t the 2000s anymore.

Yahoo! reports that Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown posted a picture to Instagram this week of her wearing a leopard-print mini-dress with the caption, “same dress but v different day.” Of course, the teen beauty received thousands of compliments in the comments section, but one in a particular struck a chord with Wood.

Paris Hilton commented on Brown’s post with her longtime catchphrase, “That’s hot.” Wood promptly replied with a simple, “She’s 15.”

The Westworld star, who first made her acting debut when she was nine years old in Digging to China, has been open with her struggles of growing up in the limelight. As Yahoo! reminds us, she explained on Backstage’s In the Envelope awards podcast last year that many people do not understand the pressure put on young stars. She stated:

“You’re raised in this adult world, but you’re also told not to be an adult, but you have to act like one, but you’re not one. So it’s this weird kind of push and pull of, ‘Don’t grow up too fast. But grow up immediately!’ People love to judge and people love a child star gone off of the rails. But it’s really sad and it’s more than you’ve bargained for most of the time.”

It is great to see former child actors trying to protect their younger colleagues from being sexualized, especially with a worn-out slogan. I mean, come on Paris, that was so 2003.
