Now that Marvel Studios owns the rights to the Fantastic Four, comic book fans can look forward to seeing yet another incarnation of the superhero team, only this time the characters will be seen alongside other MCU heroes instead of having their own standalone film.

With the foursome expected to appear in the next phase of Marvel films, followers are excited to see who will be cast as the Human Torch, Mister Fantastic, The Thing, and The Invisible Woman. Fans of the 2005 adaption will remember that actor Chris Evans actually played the Human Torch before he was cast as Captain America, but digital artist @bobby_art recently took to Instagram to demonstrate what his dream casting for the fiery role would be: Stranger Things actor Dacre Montgomery!

See his fan art below.

Flame on! Here’s a little concept poster of @dacremontgomery as Human Torch I made. I picked him since I’ve seen him in stranger things and power rangers. He’s 2 inches taller and 2 years older than Tom Holland, so I think he’d be a great rival for Spidey in the mcu. Anyways, this is my first time using fire in an edit, and it’s pretty obvious, so I think I’ll have to work on editing fire haha. Feel free to repost, but give credit! ? Heroic Hollywood reports that the fan art shows the Stranger Things star wearing the classic Fantastic Four suit with his eyes ablaze. Dacre looks more serious than Chris Evans' humorous rendition of the character, but the fire creeping up his arms tells a familiar story. Looks like he is ready to "flame on"

There's still no news about who will be cast as the new Fantastic Four, but hopefully whoever is chosen to play the Human Torch looks just as great as Dacre in this fan art!
