The first promo for The CW drama’s sixth season - which kicks off November 16 - is truly spell-tacular with Kiernan Shipka reprising her role as Sabrina Spellman, nearly one year after CAOS was devastatingly canceled by Netflix after its four-season-run.
Official details about Riverdale season 6 still remain pretty limited, but what’s clear is that this season's arc is going to be absolutely crazy! It appears that after Cheryl (Madelaine Petsch) discovered her ancestor was burned at the stake, she’s taken up a new hobby: leading a coven.
In the trailer, a very decked-out Cheryl oversees a group of young women clutching voodoo dolls as she ominously instructs, “We must return to the old ways.” But that isn’t even the wildest part of the trailer: There’s also a man who claims to be the devil, some seriously supernatural looking ghouls, and Betty (Lili Reinhart) declaring that there’s nothing more she wants than to have a baby with Archie (KJ Apa).
