Farrah Abraham Lands New Job as Book Reviewer for Adult Magazine
By Natalie Zamora
You can't make this stuff up.
After reports claimed former Teen Mom OG star Farrah Abraham had moved back in with her father Michael due to financial problems, word is she's gotten herself a new gig--and it's a bit unexpected. Following being fired from the MTV series in 2017, the mother-of-one has gotten herself into a series of legal troubles, most recently with lawsuits over failure to pay rent.
Besides appearing on last season of MTV's reality show Ex on the Beach, Farrah has taken up a few odd jobs. One, for example, is her own sex therapy, appropriately titled "Farrahpy," where she would charge $5,000 for a 30-minute session. It doesn't look like that's worked out, however, as she's now gotten herself a new gig.
According to Cheat Sheet, the 27-year-old reality star is a book reviewer for the adult magazine Penthouse. The magazine reportedly stated they wanted Farrah for the job because of her "unique perspective to reviews of new and classic literature." Hm.
Farrah's first review was of Joan Didion’s essay collection Slouching Towards Bethlehem, which she called "trash." You can read her review here. "If you’re looking to find out what not to do as a writer, this is a great book for you," Farrah writes.
This is certainly not the job we'd expect Farrah to take on, but we can't help but admit it's just hilarious.
