Fashion designer Kim Shui is accusing the fast-fashion company Fashion Nova of stealing designs that Kylie Jenner wore on Instagram recently.

The New York-based designer said in a statement to Fashionista, “We recently had Kylie wear two of our dresses and an exact copy was made via Fashion Nova…I found these pieces because several people DM'd me on Instagram showing me the looks."

Yahoo! News reports that the dresses in question are a skin-tight, multicolored tie-dye mini with ties that comes with two extra-long gloves, and a long-sleeve, high neck ruched red bodycon, made out of a leather-effect stretch material.

The original Shui designs retail for $295 and $260, respectively. The replicas on Fashion Nova are selling for $40.

Shui continued on the ripped off designs, “I understand that pieces can be inspired… I felt that they could have at least changed the color or gloves somehow, but when the dress is an exact copy, it has an impact on an independent business like ours.”

This is not the first time Fashion Nova has been accused of stealing. The company was publicly shamed by Kim Kardashian West for selling almost identical copies of designer ensembles she wore. The Keeping Up With the Kardashians star called out the brand in a series of tweets earlier this year, saying that this kind of behavior in the fashion industry is “devastating.”

Shui has emailed Fashion Nova twice to remove the dresses, but has yet to receive any response from the retailer on whether or not they will be taken down.
