Felicity Jones Wants to Reprise 'Spider-Man' Role Black Cat

It's always nice to see an actor be open to playing anything, even if it's reprising a small role in a movie years ago. That is apparently what actress Felicity Jones wants to do. She is more than willing to play her character Black Cat again in some other capacity.

It's been a while since 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2 showed the world Black Cat, and since then Spider Man has been rebooted and incorporated into the Marvel Cinematic Universe. But that's not stopping Jones from still wanting to play the character.

In an interview with Yahoo Movies UK, Felicity dished, “I’d love to play her again. She’s a great character.”

Even though the character was minor in the film, plans for expanding into a Black Cat storyline was on the table at one point. A movie called Silver and Black, which would have seen a team-up between Black Cat and Silver Sable, was reportedly in development back in 2017, but was put on hold.

Sony later revealed that the movie had been scrapped as they wanted Black Cat and Silver Sable to feature in their own solo movies.

As of now there are no plans for a Black Cat movie, so Jones still has time to secure the role. “Being vacuum-packed into a leather suit, doing backflips?! I'd love that,” Jones said back in 2014. “Can you start a petition for me?”
