First look at Margot Robbie in Barbie movie as film release date is revealed

Margot Robbie is a Barbie girl, in a Barbie world!

The 31-year-old Australian actress was seen for the first time as the iconic Mattel doll in a new teaser image released for the live-action Barbie movie on Tuesday.

She looked absolutely iconic behind the wheel of a pink classic Chevrolet Corvette in front of what looked like the Barbie Mansion in the image for the movie which will be directed by Greta Gerwig. Gerwig, 38, wrote the script for the film with her longtime partner Noah Baumbach.

Warner Bros.  Pictures released the image on their social media accounts with a simple caption that read: "#BARBIE July 21, 2023 Only in theaters." In the image shared, Margot had a big smile on her face as she posed with her hands on the top of the tiny windshield and the iconic doll's signature blonde locks were worn down.
