Game of Thrones is unfortunately ending, and its cast of actors who have either found fame on the show or are veterans of the screen have to move on and find other projects. This includes actor Jerome Flynn, who plays Bronn on the hit show.

Flynn is trading one hit television show for a new one, in Amazon's adaptation of Stephen King's The Dark Tower, where he will play a cowboy in an otherwise unknown role.

The Dark Tower follows Roland Deschain, who recruits people from Earth to follow him to the Dark Tower while fighting Randall Flagg. The show will also explore the origins of Roland's life living in Gilead.

"I’ve always said I’d like to play a cowboy – and now one has come along," Flynn told The Daily Mirror on the casting. "I'm excited for that."

While Flynn starts his next project, however, fans all over the world are watching Game of Thrones come to an end. Flynn has appeared as Bronn in since the series' first season, and is currently the only person to have shot at a dragon.

“It’s a hard job to finish off Game of Thrones, with the whole world waiting. It will always be a part of me," Flynn added.
