So remember way back to Season 2 of Game of Thrones? Daenerys Targaryen had found herself in the city of Qarth and her baby dragons were missing. Then there's that horrifying scene when Dany locks Xaro Xhoan Daxos, the powerful spice merchant, in a safe for his complicity in the theft of her baby dragons.

Well, the actor behind feels Xaro Xhoan Daxos that Daenerys shouldn't have done that. According to Winter is Coming, the actor recently weighed in on the final season with Showbiz Cheat Sheet, explaining that the Mother of Dragons' fatal ending could've been avoided.

“She shouldn’t have locked me in the safe,” Nonso Anozie joked at the Toronto International Film Festival premiere of his movie The Laundromat. “She should have let me out and then I could’ve come and help her. I mean I was essentially the King of Qarth. There might not have been anything in my safe. But being the king of the whole city, which is the wealthiest city in the world. We could have had some work done but you know. She wanted to lock a brother in a safe.”

Anozie may be right. If Dany had the ships, power and support that Xaro could have offered her, she may not have faced so many hardships in the later seasons.

The 40-year-old actor also weighed in on the backlash the final season received, explaining, "I think what happened was people didn’t get any warning as to the fact that it was going to move at the pace that it moved at." He then highlighted the fact that a show that big can't please everyone, adding, "I mean I honestly think that if Game of Thrones had ended any other way people would still be upset because they loved it so much and that it was. I honestly do."

As for what Anozie thought could be better in the series was its diversity. "I think [in] Game of Thrones I probably would like to see a little bit more inclusion," he shared.
