'Game of Thrones' Star Emilia Clarke Admits She Was 'Annoyed' With the Way Things Ended for Daenerys and Jon
Emila Clarke is honestly all of us after the final season of Game of Thrones. Fans bid farewell to the beloved show when the final episode aired in May 2019, and there were some very strong feelings on some of the plot-lines. Apparently, Emilia Clarke, a.k.a. Daenerys, felt some type of way as well.
The hit HBO show didn't exactly culminate in the best way for Clarke's character, and the actress admitted to The Times that she still feels for Dany. In fact, she was flat out annoyed by the way things ended for Daenerys and Jon Snow.
I really felt for her," Clarke said, according to SYFY. "And yeah, was I annoyed that Jon Snow didn’t have to deal with something? He got away with murder — literally."
While Clarke doesn't mind reflecting on her past life in Game of Thrones, she's also ready to look to the future. She also told The Times she'd be very open to the idea of taking on another major franchise. “I think, if I did, it would be me having a giggle,” she said. "I want to do something absolutely stupid and silly, like, you know, The Avengers or whatever. Something where I got to have a giggle with mates."
Of course, we can't change the past, and Daenerys' demise will always sting a little bit, but at least we have Game of Thrones re-runs to reminisce on her epic run. Check out these awesome deals here for Sling TV keep binge-watching.
