After six years out of the spotlight, King Joffrey is back!

Digital Spy reports that Game of Thrones alum Jack Gleeson is ready to return to the screen, joining the cast of BBC's Out of Her Mind. Gleeson, 27, initially left acting behind to pursue more academic endeavors. But apparently, that didn't pan out. According to Digital Spy, he later said that he had "gone off that idea." Regardless of his reasoning for the big TV return, GoT fans are definitely stoked that the young, talented actor is taking on a new role. And get this, it's a comedy series.

As noted by the publication, BBC described the show as follows: "Out of Her Mind explores heartbreak, family and how to survive them. The series subverts the traditional sitcom format by combining eccentric characters, animation and scientific explanation." Sounds like there's something for everyone.

The all-star cast for Out of Her Mind includes Fiona Button, Adrian Edmondson, Navin Chowdhry, Sean Gilder, Tom Stuart, Jumayn Hunter, and Sheila Reid. The air date has yet to be determined, but saying we can't wait to see this next phase of Gleeson's career is an understatement! The series will be distributed by Sony Pictures Television.
