'Game of Thrones' Prequel 'House of the Dragon' Reportedly Starting Casting
If you have been waiting to hear what new silver-haired babes are going to fly onto the Game of Thrones scene and steal our hearts, your wait might be almost over. Metro UK reports that the prequel series, House of the Dragon, has sent out a casting call for the three lead characters, meaning we will soon have faces for Daenerys Targaryen’s ancestors.
As fans know, the forthcoming show is based off of author George R.R. Martin’s Fire and Blood series, and is set hundreds of years prior to the flagship show. It follows siblings Aegon, Visenya, and Rhaenys Targaryen as they build an empire in Westeros after their homeland of Valyria is destroyed.
The prequel will likely be hotter than ever... literally. Aegon the Conqueror invades Westeros on his dragon Balerion the Black Dread, who is said to have a wingspan as large as a town. He also does it alongside his sisters who double as his wives, which will likely make Cersei and Jaime Lannister's affair look like a PG movie.
We can’t wait to see who brings Dany's heritage to life in real time! One can only hope that they are fierce as our beloved Khaleesi.
