'Game of Thrones' Season 8 Trailer Might Hint Cersei Loses Her Baby

When anything promotional is released for Game of Thrones, fans go hard on analyzing every detail.

So of course, the first full-length trailer for Season 8 is no exception. Out of the two-minute video, fans have looked into one scene pretty deeply--and there are some predictions that add a grim new plot point for Cersei Lannister.

It was revealed in Season 7 that Cersei was pregnant with the child of her brother, Jaime Lannister. In that same season, she is offered a glass of wine by Tyrion and refuses it, placing a hand on her stomach. Fans of course believe this was a purposeful choice by the team and hinted to Tyrion that Cersei was pregnant.

With this scene in mind, it definitely raised some eyebrows when Cersei is seen in the newest trailer tearfully drinking a glass of wine, given her refusal in the last season. Fans are certain this could mean Cersei loses her child in the upcoming season. What could possibly make Queen Cersei cry? Considering we know how deeply she cares for her children, it must be something involving her unborn baby.

This isn't the only fan theory to come out of the snippet, however. Fans have also posed that Cersei could have already given birth, and her child was simply not featured in the shot or anywhere else in the trailer. But her crying really is telling.

Either way, we'll have all of our theories confirmed or denied when Game of Thrones comes back on April 14.
