Sophie Turner is no stranger to the spotlight. This year alone, she starred in Dark Phoenix and wrapped up her time as Sansa Stark on Game of Thrones, a role she took on at just 13 years old. The now-23-year-old recently spoke with the Los Angeles Times about her wild career and the struggle of rising to fame at such a young age, before dishing on where she thinks her Game of Thrones character ended up.

Turner compared Sansa’s precarious journey with her own, saying, “Sansa’s being thrown in the deep end in this world she doesn’t understand. She doesn’t have any perspective other than a [kid] looking through rose-tinted glasses. That was kind of me.”

Turner also explained how she grew with the character, adding, “As a person, you become more closed off [due to fame]. It fed into Sansa, for sure. Coming in at age 13, I couldn’t have played Sansa at 17. I wouldn’t have lived enough life.”

When asked about Sansa’s fate after Thrones, Turner made a prediction: "I see her leading until she’s very old. I don’t see her getting married or having children. I think it would be a democratic kind of kingdom. She’d die of old age, very happy."

This is an uncharacteristically happy ending for a Game of Thrones character, but for Turner, we’ll let it slide. Sansa has been through enough.
